Have you watched the Amazing Race? I’m not a huge fan of reality shows, but I really get into this one. The racers get to experience several different intense challenges all around the world. This season has already been running for a few episodes, but I’m confident that even if you start it now, you’ll be hooked! It is on CBS on Sunday nights, check it out.
There are so many things I enjoy about the Olympics. I love summer and winter alike, but have you ever noticed how crazy dangerous many of those winter sports are? There are the obvious danger sports like the luge and the skeleton, but even the more aesthetically pleasing sports like figure skating have had their fair share of injuries.
One event that is especially insane, and entirely titillating is the half-pipe, I mean, did you see Shaun White? If you happened to miss his Olympic gold medal run, click this link to check it out! (sorry I couldn’t find a video with a code to share it here)

Since I have taken you to the water for the last two adventures, I figured it would be time to throw in some land. Slickrock Bike Trail in Moab, Utah is a great way to get your adrenaline high and be active all the while. With sudden drops, slick sudden turns, and steep hills, this trail is sure to get your pulse racing!
Check out this website for more details.

This awesome adventure which is also known as black-water rafting can only be done in New Zealand. You sit on rubber inner tubes and float into the Ruakuri Caves located in the Waitomo region. But don’t think this is a leisurely float down a babbling brook, you’ll take a ride down waterfalls surrounded by glowworms, slide through tight spaces, and speed down high-speed rapids.
Cost: $80 for every three hours
Visit www.waitomo.com.
If spice is what you are looking for, I’m not sure how much spicier life can get than coming face to face with the great whites of South Africa. I mean, seriously, if that doesn’t get your heart pumping, I’m just not sure anything will. Just off the coast of South Africa, you will find the infamous Shark Alley where many great white sharks make their home. You won’t need any scuba certification, just sheer courage and a touch of insanity! There are several companies that offer the cage diving experience, just do your research and find the best fit for you.
